Sharing our weekly quiche on Instagram has become one of my most requested recipes and I’ve finally remembered to share it. Quiches are so great for a busy week when mornings are rushed or for a cozy weekend at home.
It takes me less than 10 minutes to have the quiche prepared and in the oven. There are so many flavor variations and I generally use whatever I have on hand. The three essentials for a quiche are the eggs (obviously), cheese, and veggies. You can check out some of the flavor combinations I’ve made by going to the “Baking” highlight bubble on my Instagram.
This week’s Quiche flavor is Loaded Baked Potato!

Quiche Base Recipe:
- 1 Pie Crust
- 6 Eggs
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper (or to your liking)
Loaded Bake Potato Ingredients:
- 2-3 strips of bacon*, chopped
- 1 potato, diced and baked
- 1 green onion, diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
*Note: I bake the bacon ahead of time in the oven on a baking sheet. Once cooked, place the bacon on a separate plate and then bake the diced potatoes on the same baking sheet IN the bacon grease. It softens the potatoes before putting into the quiche and adds extra flavor!
Instructions:
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2.) If you’ve not already cooked your bacon, now is the time to do so
3.) Prepare your crust in a pie pan
4.) In a bowl, crack eggs and whisk, breaking all of the yolks
5.) Add heavy cream, whisk together with eggs for 1-2 minutes
6.) Add garlic, salt and pepper. Whisk again
7.) Add your additional ingredients to the egg mixture. If you’re making the loaded baked potato quiche with the ingredients above, I will sprinkle half of the bacon and cheese on the crust as these are heavier ingredients
8.) Whisk all of the ingredients together in the bowl one final time, then pour into the crust
9.) Bake for 30 minutes or until there’s no jiggle in the center of the quiche
Enjoy!
